There's only ever a small handful of players just doing their own thing and it just feels pretty lonely most of the time when you're trying to find other people to drive with. Free roam in previous Horizons (mainly 1 and 2) was great because you'd have to go into an online lobby that had players all wanting to drive around with each other. Forza Motorsport 7 is not a free roaming game. It's a circuit racer, like Gran Turismo. Free roaming with traffic is only in Forza Horizon games. As someone stated its a circuit racer, nothing like Horizon with a free roam or traffic aspect. That said there are three “open” lobby types: Track Day, Drifting, and Airfield. What I've gathered from comparing it to the console demo is that Horizon 4 is quite bluntly a badly ported PC game. It manages to use 80% of existing system, car, and physics assets that were already developed years ago as part of Horizon 3 and somehow manages to obliterate optimization and image fidelity. N67D.
